Illustrations of the houses where Van Gogh lived through his life, and some map design. In De Grote van Gogh Atlas, published by Rubinstein, we follow Vincent's travels through different maps and his art. Making use of muted colours and simple design, the houses contrast the existing, often aged, material of the book very well. The houses are used as pinpoints on the maps, but also stand on their own as illustrations.
Made during my internship at Werkplaats Amsterdam, in collaboration with Yolanda Huntelaar.
